What is MATHCOUNTS?

MATHCOUNTS is a nation-wide series of middle school math competitions occurring at regional, state, and national levels.  FES NWFL sponsors our regional competition in an effort to support the development of future leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).

HOW MATHCOUNTS Makes a Difference:

• It builds critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for success
• By reinforcing the importance of teamwork, the program provides a social opportunity outside the classroom at a critical time in a child’s social development.
• Success in MATHCOUNTS, even at the school level, can be a transformative confidence builder
